Commentary: Michael Vick, dog fighting and the ASPCA

Ahh the originality of scandal in fame. I'm so tired of reading about celebrities committing crime and getting publicity for it. Why is it that only bad news is rewarded. Are we that sick of a nation that all we want to hear about are the monstrosities of our precious social hierarchy?

I can not believe that yet another star has spit on their fame and good fortune by not abiding by the law. How is it that someone who has that much money and free time (off season), cant find anything productive to do? It doesn't even have to be productive, just lawful.

Vick's crime is by far one of the worst that we've heard about. Between Paris Hilton being in and out of jail and this why would we need to focus on the good that some celebrities do. After all it's all about what makes good headlines nowadays, right?

All I have to say is that Vick better be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
