CINCINNATI - One dog owner's efforts to find her lost pet paid off in the end.
Brandy Veillion's shih tzu, Nui, disappeared from her home in October 2008.
What made Veillion's story different from other lost pet stories was how much she did in efforts to find Nui.
Veillion and friends put up more than 2,000 flyers across Hamilton County and the surrounding area, even though the dog was lost in Oakley.
On Tuesday, the story had a happy ending.
Veillion said someone found Nui in Arlington Heights and contacted her. Nui is now home and Veillion said the 2-year-old dog is doing well.
